Day 1: Ahmedabad-dasada
Get greeted by the tour cooperator on arrival at Ahmedabad. Travel 90 km to Dasada from there. Go on a safari in the Little Rann of Kutch in the evening.
Located on the banks of Sabarmati River, Ahemdabad was once the capital of Gujarat and is the largest city in the state of Gujarat. Also known as Karnavati, Ahemdabad is also an important commercial center of India and is visited by large number of both leisure and business tourists. Ahmedabad is also a major center for textiles and handiwork and has interesting markets and bazaars.
Known as the last abode of the Asiatic wild ass in the Indian peninsula, Little Rann of Kutch is a desert wildlife sanctuary and a home to other endangered wildlife like the wolf, Indian and desert foxes, Indian gazelle, McQueen's bustard, etc. Do not forget to see the beautiful sunset at Bajana Lake, where flamingos, pelicans, demoiselle and common cranes, and other magnificent birds gather in numbers beyond comprehension.
Stay at Rann Riders which is an imaginatively designed safari resort with a/c cottages built from local materials to resemble a local village featuring long wicker beds, work table, dressing area and a tiled bath with hot-and-cold water.
Day 2: Dasada-gir Np
Next day, drive into the Little Rann for birding and animal viewing. Proceed to Gir afterwards and stay at the Gir Birding Lodge.
Day 3: Gir National Park
Enjoy the morning and afternoon drives in the Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary on the following day.
Last abode of the Asiatic Lion, Gir in Gujarat is a deciduous forest. The forest is known not only for its thriving panther (leopard) population but is also a home to large population of chital or spotted deer, sambar, blue bull antelope, chinkara gazelle, chousingha (the world's only four-horned antelope), wild boar and other wildlife. Besides, you will also see a large number of avian population on the game-drive trail.

Day 04 and 05: Gir National Park And Wildlife Sanctuary
Enjoy morning and evening drives in the Gir forests for the next two days as well. Look for the two big cats and also get the pleasure of watching other wildlife. Visit Devaliya (enclosed area for lions), crocodile farm or also go on a nature and bird walks with our guide.
Drives can be also be substituted for a visit to Somnath to see the shore temple (one of the 12 holy abodes of Shiva), Sun Temple, Ahilya Temple and other monuments.
Overnight stay at Gir Birding Lodge.
Day 06: Gir National Park-sayla
Next morning starts with a drive to Sayla. In the afternoon drive to watch large herds of blackbuck antelope.
Founded in 1751 by Seshmalj, Sayla was once a princely state ruled by the Jhala Rajput and is presently the part of the Indian state of Gujarat, The city is known for its palaces and monuments and attracts large number of tourists every year.
Overnight stay at the Old Bell Guest House, a heritage hotel.
Day 07: Sayla - ahmedabad
Visit Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary to watch birds on the edge of the lake in the morning. Go on a boat ride if permitted and later drive back to Ahmedabad to board a flight for the onward destination.
