Day 01: Cochin
Arrive Cochin. Our tour representative will receive you and take you to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and relive your stress. On your first day of Kerala Culinary Tour with India Profile, drenched yourself in joy with evening harbor cruise. Return hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Cochin
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Walk through the Spice and Fish market. Mid-afternoon culinary class will introduce you with Indian cooking. Note down the recipes of various Indian seafood dishes and try your hands in cooking. Night stay in Cochin.
Day 03: Cochin - Periyar
Today on your Kerala Culinary Tour, travel to Periyar by road. Periyar is a refuge from the hustle bustle of the city crowd. Renowned for its National Park, it is dotted with rubber estates and tea and spice plantations. Arrive in Periyar. Check-in at the hotel and relax your stressed muscles. In the late afternoon experience the boat safari in the lake. Return from the National Park after boat safari for your next cooking classes. Learn some more recipes cooked with traditional spices.
Day 04: Periyar
Stroll through the Spice Village and rendezvous with traditional spices. While walking through spice plantations, smell the rich aroma of spices and have a look at them at their natural habitat. Day 05: Periyar - Kumarakom
We will travel to Kumarakom. Renowned for its bird sanctuary, Kumarakom is an oasis of tranquility. It is one of the most sought after leisure destinations in Kerala and is blessed with nature's bounteous beauty. From mangrove forests to coconut trees to paddy fields, enjoy scenic bliss. Try your hands on breaking and grating coconut. Enjoy sunset cruise over the lake. Night stay in Kumarakom.
Day 06: Kumarakom
Boat transfer to a farm after breakfast. Notice locals busy in fishing. Your mid-afternoon cooking class allows you to try your hands on Kerala seafood dishes. Night stay in Kumarakom.
Day 07: Kumarakom - Mararikulam
After having a delicious breakfast, you will be transferred to Puthenangadi through boat over the lake Vembanad. Travel to Marari Beach where you can enjoy beach activities. check-in at the beach resort for night stay.
Day 08: Mararikulam - Cochin
You will be transferred to airport to board the flight for onward journey.
