Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Welcome to the Delhi airport. Meet Indian Horizons executive
who will escort you to your hotel and help you check in. Have
dinner and catch a good night's sleep to get over your jet lag.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to a full day
of sight seeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit the magnificent
17th century Red Fort and Jama Masjid in Old Delhi. An exciting
Cycle rickshaw ride from the Jama Masjid will take you to Chandni
Chowk. Later, you will visit the famous tourist attractions
of New Delhi including Jantar Mantar, India Gate, Raj Ghat,
Rashtrapati Bhawan, Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Corbett
After breakfast, we head for the world-famous Corbett National
Park.
Nestled in the lap of the lower Himalayan ranges, Corbett is
regarded as the most picturesque national park and tiger reserve
of India. Notably, it is the first ever National Park established
in India. Named after the famous hunter turned author Jim Corbett,
the park is known for its rich and diverse wildlife and plants.
It is also famous for an amazing variety of avifauna, estimated
to be over 600 species of birds.
On arrival at Corbett we check into the Forest Lodge/Resort
and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Lodge/Resort
in Corbett.
Day 04: Corbett National Park
Get ready for a daylong jungle safari in the Corbett National
Park for game viewing. Thrilling jeep/elephant safaris in the
morning and evening in the Corbett will enrich your bag of experiences.Track
tigers and birds in their own natural habitat while feasting
on the breathtaking scenic beauty of the park. Dinner and overnight
stay will be at the Lodge/Resort in Corbett.
Day 05: Corbett National Park
Wake up to the 2nd daylong jungle safari in the Corbett National
Park. Enjoy thrilling morning and evening jeep/elephant safaris
in park. These are the times the wildlife are most active and
is most likely to appear before you.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Lodge/Resort in Corbett.
Day 06: Corbett - Agra
After breakfast at the Lodge, we head for Agra- the city of
the Taj Mahal by road. Check into the hotel on arrival in Agra.
After freshening up, enjoy a visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal.
Made in white marble by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory
of his queen, the Taj is considered the most beautiful monument
in the world.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Agra.
Day 07: Agra - Bharatpur
Enjoy an early morning visit to Taj Mahal as the white marble
monument blushes under the rising sun. Later, we drive to the
famous Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (65 km-1hr). Arrive and check
into the Forest Lodge/Resort. Freshen up at the hotel. After
lunch enjoy an exciting afternoon bird safari in the park.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Forest Lodge/Resort
at Bharatpur.
Day 08: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
In the morning take an exciting walk or boat ride through the
marshes to explore the rich and diverse avifauna of the park.
Enjoy a rickshaw or a bicycle ride through the park in the afternoon
to spot an amazingly rich variety of exotic and colorful birds
in the sanctuary that never disappoint you.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Lodge/ Resort at Bharatpur.
Day 9: Bharatpur - Sawai Madhopur
After a morning walk in Bharatpur bird sanctuary, we drive to
Sawai Madhopur, famous for the Ranthambore National Park and
Tiger Reserve.
Home to a rich tiger population, the Ranthambore National Park
also shelters over 275 species of birds. Popular with wildlife
enthusiasts and photographers all over the world, the park promises
better chances of spotting tigers in their own natural habitat.
From Sawai Madhopur we proceed directly to Ranthambore National
Park and check into the Forest Lodge/Resort for dinner and overnight
stay.
Day 10: Ranthambore National Park
Enjoy a full day jungle safari in the Ranthambore National Park.
Enjoy thrilling morning and evening jeep safaris in the park
to explore its rich and diverse wildlife, including its amazing
avifauna.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Forest Lodge/Resort
in Ranthambore.
Day 11: Ranthambore National Park
A thrilling morning and evening jungle safari in the park will
expose you to its exceptionally rich and diverse flora and fauna.
Spot an amazing variety of exotic and colorful birds and other
wildlife in the park. If you are lucky the king of the Jungle,
the Royal Bengal Tiger will gratify you with its appearance.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Forest Lodge/Resort
in Ranthambore.
Day 12: Ranthambore - Jaipur - Delhi
After breakfast at the resort, we drive to Jaipur- the pink
city of India and capital of Rajasthan. At Jaipur a sightseeing
tour of the city will take you to Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar
and City Palace. Later we proceed to Delhi by road.
On arrival at Delhi, you are transferred to the airport a flight
to your onward destination or way back home with sweet memories
of Bird Paradise with Tigers Tour.
