Today's Camel Safaris endeavor recreating the spirit of adventure
seen in the 16th century when camel caravans were used to cross
the mountains. The Thar Desert in Rajasthan, with its vast stretches
of sand, dotted with dunes and its own specially adapted shrubs
and wildlife is ideal terrain for a memorable camel safari.
Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
On arrival our representative will greet you and escort you
to the hotel where we will be holding the rooms on ready occupancy
basis. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02 - Delhi
Explore the city in the morning, visiting Laxmi Narayan Temple,
India Gate, Parliament House, etc. Make a tour of Old Delhi
in the afternoon covering Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in
Asia), Red Fort, Gandhi Memorial, amongst others, while in the
evening you can enjoy the sound & light show. Stay overnight
at hotel.
Day 03 - Delhi - Mandawa
Morning drive to Mandawa; on arrival check-in at hotel. Visit
beautiful Havelis and frescoes in the afternoon. Stay overnight
at hotel.
Day 04 -Mandawa - Bikaner
Morning drive to Bikaner; on arrival check-in at hotel. There
is an afternoon city tour covering Junagadh Fort, Jain temples,
etc. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 05 - Bikaner - Jaisalmer
Enjoy the city atmosphere freely in the morning. Later in the
day, drive to Jaisalmer. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Stay
overnight at hotel.
Day 06 - Jaisalmer - Badabagh - Baisakhai - Ramkunda
After breakfast commences the camel safari towards Badabagh,
the site of royal cenotaphs of Bhatti Rajput Kings. Have lunch
at Baisakhai village, and then move on to visit a Hindu temple.
Shift to Ramkunda, a holy place with beautiful landscapes &
Hindu temples. Have dinner and stay overnight in tents.
Day 07 - Ramkunda - Roopse - Ludharva -Chatrayil
Post-breakfast, proceed to Ludharva via Roopsi, a village with
mud and stick houses. Have lunch at Ludharva, visit Jain temple
& move to Chatrayil, an orthodox Muslim village. From there
reach Peerawal. Have dinner and stay overnight at tents.
Day 08 - Chatrayil - Salkha Beri of Kanoi - Sand dunes
Visit a traditional Rajput village Salkha after breakfast. Have
lunch and proceed towards Sand dunes via Beri of Kanoi, a place
packed with water wells. Catch the wonderful sight of pastoral
women balancing water pots on their head as well as their colorful
dresses. Reach sand dunes, where you will cherish the dinner,
desert folk music, and campfire.
Day 09 - Sand dunes - Kanoi - Masoordi - Jeseiri
After breakfast proceed to Masoordi via Kanoi, a typical carpenters'
village where you can see and buy beautifully carved wooden
items. Arrive at Masoordi, have lunch, and then proceed to Jeseiri,
a water tank surrounding by Oasis. Have dinner and stay overnight
near that tank.
Day 10 - Jeseiri - Dedha - Deegasar - Kuldhara
After having breakfast move to the Rajput village Deegasar via
Dedha. Have your lunch at Deegasar. Proceed further for Kuldhara
via a small Rajput Dhani - a typical group of houses where people
stay while cultivating their agriculture fields. Reaching Kuldhara
you will see planning of villages in ancient times. Spend overnight
at camps.
Day 11 - Kuldhara - Moolsagars - Amarsagar - Jaisalmer
Leave for Jaisalmer via Moolsagar and Amarsagar After breakfast.
On arrival check-in at hotel and relax for the rest of the day.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 12 - Jaisalmer
Enjoy a full day city tour covering Jaisalmer Fort, Tazia Tower,
Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, and the beautiful Gadsisar
Lake. Spend overnight at hotel.
Day 13 - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
Drive to Jodhpur in the morning; on arrival check-in at hotel.
Relax for the rest of the day. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 14 - Jodhpur
Enjoy a city tour including the Clock tower, Mehrangarh fort,
Jaswanthada, Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, etc. Stay overnight
at hotel.
Day 15 - Jodhpur - Jaipur
Morning drive to Jaipur, on arrival check-in at hotel. Enjoy
the city atmosphere while relaxing in the afternoon. Stay overnight
at hotel
Day 16 -Jaipur
Go out on an excursion to Amer Fort in the morning riding upon
an Elephant. Visit Hawa Mahal, Royal observatory, City palace,
Govind Devji Temple, Johari Bazaar, etc in the afternoon. Stay
overnight at hotel.
Day 17 - Jaipur - Delhi
Drive back to Delhi. On arrival shift to hotel where few rooms
are booked for you to refresh yourself. Have your dinner and
relocate to Airport to catch International flight.
