The 6th International Edition of Aero India Show is slated
to take place from 7 - 11 February 2007 at the Yelahanka Air
Force Station in Bangalore, Karnataka. The event is an air show-cum-defence
exhibition held once every two years in India. The show in 2007
will focus on exhibiting the latest civil and military aircrafts
from some of the top-notch international companies as well as
the Indian Air Force.
Aero India 2007 is aimed at providing a platform to the manufacturers
of civil and military aircrafts as well as other allied service
providers to the Indian Aviation and Aerospace industry where
they can interact and make partners with prospective buyers.
The show would also involve air shows besides static exhibits
of aircrafts and other products.
As for the number of exhibitors and attendees to the Bangalore
Aero India Show 2007, the figures are expected to be much higher
as against the 5th Edition in 2005. This time, a little more
than 500 exhibitors are expected to participate at the event
whereas, around 380 companies took part in the show in 2005.
Even the number of people arriving for the event is expected
to rise to nearly 1,50,000! The total exhibition area available
at Aero India 2007 is around 25,000 sq m and shows an increase
of 30% over the last time. Also, nearly 40 international delegations
would be participating at the 2007 Air Show.
