Introduction
Digambar Jain Temple is one of the oldest Jain temples in the city. In this temple you can easily observe Jainism and can easily witness the diversity of religion in India. Jainism was emerged in the oldest time when the Tirthankaras showed a different path to look at the life. Jainism was spread all over the country and it developed an important impact in this sphere. Apart from the temple there is other nearby attractions. They are Chandni Chowk, Red Fort, Salimgarh Fort, Kashmeri Gate, St James Church, Jama Masjid, Dara Shikoh Library, Lothian Cemetery, and Rajghat.
Chandni Chowk- the oldest market area ,famous as the oldest part of the city.
Red Fort- the old fort was built by Shah Jahan when he decided to shift his capital from Agra to Delhi.
Kashmeri Gate- one of the main gates of red fort. The gate is a wonderful work of art.
Jama Mashjid- the main and the biggest mosque in India.
Dara Shikoh Library- the library containing the antique items and manuscripts will give you the broad idea of Indian history.
Rajghat- the memorial ground of Mohandas Karam Chand Gandhi.
