Day 1: Chennai
You will receive a warm welcome from our representatives at the Chennai Airport. They will take you to the hotel where you can take rest for the night.
Day 2: Sight Seeing at Chennai
Immediately after breakfast we will set out for a sight seeing tour of the city of Chennai. There are several tourist attractions in Chennai and the ones that will be covered in this visit includes the magnificent Parthasarathy and Kapaleeshwar temples, the lovely Marina Beach, the imposing Fort St.George, the impressive Santhome Cathedral and the National Art Gallery which has an amazing collection of rare and unique art pieces. After the day's outing retire to the hotel and take rest for the night at the hotel in Chennai.
Day 3: Visit to Kanchipuram and then Mahabalipuram, Overnight stay at Mahabalipuram
Immediately after breakfast we shall set out for Kanchipuram. The temples at Kanchipuram are indeed splendid structures that have retained their brilliance to this day. From Kanchipuram, we shall set out for Mahabalipuram. On reaching Mahabalipuram, we shall check in to a hotel where we will halt for the night.
Day 4: Sight Seeing at Mahabalipuram
The whole day will be devoted to this sea side village. Just after eating breakfast, we start the trip which will enable you to see the world famous rock cut temples. The extremely elegant and refined sculptures of these temples reflect the kind of lives led by the people several centuries ago. The Varaha Cave and the Mahishamardini Cave will not be missed out. The pristine beaches of Mahabalipuram are also there for you to explore the whole day through. The night will also be spent in Mahabalipuram.
Day 5: Going to Chidambaram
Immediately after eating our breakfast we shall set out for Chidambaram. After arriving at Chidambaram, you will be transferred to the hotel. Freshen up at the hotel and then relax or do what you please. As this is a vacation, we understand the need of moments of leisure.
Day 6: Sight Seeing at Chidambaram and reaching Tanjore
The day begins with a visit to the Nataraja temple and the Kali Temple in Chidambaram. By afternoon the tour of the city is over and then we drive towards Tanjore. On reaching Tanjore, we will retire to the hotel to take rest.
Day 7: Sight Seeing at Tanjore and reaching Tiruchirapalli
Immediately after breakfast we shall set out for a sight seeing tour of the city of Tanjore. The Brihadisvara Temple, the prime tourist attraction will not be missed out. Then we shall drive to Tiruchirapalli. Take rest after you are transferred to the hotel.
Day 8: Sight Seeing at Tiruchirapalli and reaching Madurai
In the morning just after breakfast, we will set out for a sight seeing tour of the city of Tiruchirapalli. Any visit to the state of Tamil Nadu is not complete unless you have visited the temples. Several temples will be covered in the tour of this city. Sri Jambukeswara Temple, Rock Fort Temple, Rangathaswamy Temple are all marvels of architecture that are apart of this trip. The Viralimalai Sanctuary will also be included in this trip. Surely the sight of peacocks displaying all their colored feathers is very beautiful and you will be among the fortunate who will get to see this beautiful sight.. Then a drive will take you to Madurai.
Day 9: Sight seeing at Madurai and reaching Periyar
The absolutely splendid Meenakshi Temple will be your first destination after you have set out for a tour of the city just after breakfast. The Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam Temple will also be included in the visit. These temples are reflective of the heights achieved by our craftsmen in the field of sculpture and architecture and it is a privilege to be visiting them. Then we shall head for Periyar. After reaching Periyar, we will check into the hotel where we will rest for the night.
Day 10: Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary, Driving to Kottayam, Boat ride to Alleppey
In the morning eat your breakfast and set out for The Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary. The lake amidst the deciduous forests presents a beautiful picture. The wild life attractions are also many. You will get to see the majestic tigers and the Indian Elephants in addition to a large number of birds. Then drive to Kottayam. From Kottayam, a boat ride in the beautiful back waters will take you to Alleppey. The night will be spent in Alleppey.
Day 11: Sight Seeing at Alleppey and reaching Kovalam
After your breakfast at the hotel, you will go for a sight seeing tour of the city of Alleppey. Then you will start the journey that will take you to Kovalam, the Paradise of the South. On your arrival you will be taken to the hotel where you can rest for the night.
Day 12: Sight seeing at Kovalam
Devote this whole day to this beautiful sea side. Its beaches are its biggest draws. They are lovely and make a very pretty sight being bordered with palm trees. Surely nothing can be more relaxing than basking in these golden sea beaches. The sea is no less welcoming.
Day 13: Departure for Trivandrum
It is only in the afternoon that we will be starting our journey for Trivandrum. So even in the morning you will get some time to explore these absolutely fabulous beaches. You can even take a dip in its azure waters. After your arrival at Trivandrum you will be taken to the hotel here you have to spend the night.
Day 14: Sight Seeing at Trivandrum
The day begins with a good breakfast at the hotel followed by a sight seeing tour of Trivandrum. In this tour you will get to see the Padmabha Swamy Temple and two other Museums- the Kuthiramalika Palace Museum and the Napier Museum. You are sure to enjoy visiting all these places. At the end of the day, you shall return to the hotel to freshen up. Then you will have to pack your belongings and check out. You will be transferred to the airport so that you can board the flight back home.
