Description
The wildlife sanctuary is a dense forest of sal plantation and swampy lands. Almost all kinds of geographical features can be seen in this place. The place is an ideal place as tiger reserve since the year 1879 and in the year 1977, Dudhwa became the national park and that made it to accept tiger projects in 1988.
The place is not only famous for beasts but for the beautiful colorful birds too. In the winter the migratory birds come and make the swampy lands vibrating with their sound.
How to reach
Lucknow is the nearest airport as the airport is well connected with other parts of India. You can also visit the place from Nepal which is 35 kms from the airport. For that route the prior permission and visa is required.The nearest railway junctions are Dudhwa and Mailani and Palia. All the stations are well connected to the national park.
There are local busses that ply around the city and that are the cheapest way how you can reach the destination.
